We are excited to announce our 2nd annual CMSAF James C. Binnicker 9K Memorial Run to be held on August 27, 2016. This race, named in honor of our late 9th Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force and AF Enlisted Village CEO/President, will take runners through the Bob Hope Village Campus and the surrounding neighborhoods of Poquito Bayou. Along this route, the participants will not only get to interact with many of our 520 residents, but will also be able to see firsthand how Jim’s dreams became a reality.

We all have dreams of leaving a legacy. CMSAF Binnicker, our President and CEO for the past 15 years, had dreams of providing world‐class, yet affordable, homes for surviving spouses of retired military heroes and to mothers of current active duty and retired military members. Under his leadership, the Air Force Enlisted Village built and opened the Hawthorn House, our 64‐unit, assisted living facility, and 96 additional apartments in Village 5. Tragically, Jim passed away last year, but his dream lives on.
